PAD

PAD is a convenient single-channel amplifier for digitizing type PW15PH, PW25P, PW29PH, and PW27P load cells from HBM according to the “plug and play” principle. You can also use an M12 connector to connect other passive sensors of any type to the PAD digital transducer electronics for quick and easy digitization and visualization of your measured values.

HBM’s PanelX software provides an intuitive and modern user interface for configuration. Special attention is given to analyzing dynamic filling and batching applications.

Plug & Play – in a wide variety of combinations

PAD can easily be connected to your load cell. This can be done in close proximity to the load cell or also at some distance, depending on the application.

As an “electronics in a tube” PAD comes in a compact stainless steel enclosure and is thus ideally protected from liquids and adverse ambient conditions (up to IP68/IP69K degree of protection). In addition, PAD offers maximum precision – even in demanding environments.

With a measured value resolution of up to 5,120,000 digits for 2 mV/V and complete measurement signal conditioning with selectable or automatic filters, precision is guaranteed even with interference resulting from strong vibrations. The transducer electronics can be conveniently integrated in a variety of system environments using RS485 and CANOpen interfaces.
